Dan and Shay San Jose Concert reviews
What a show!
The band ROCKED!!! It was three electric guitars (with a fantastic solo from Nita Strauss), a bass player, and a drummer. As usual, Dan and Shay and his assistants had LOTS of props for the stage show, but he did let the musicians shine.
Seeing that song finally performed live was in itself worth the price of admission. They played lots of songs that are rarely played, including the incredible progressive style Halo Of Flies. I had just seen Dan and Shay about a year ago and was hesitant about doing a rerun. This show was very different from the last.
My friends and I all thought that he played a lot of new songs. When I checked the set list the next day, these were just rare nuggets that never get played.
